The Catholic

AI Summit

2027

March 19–20, 2027

Duquesne Club

Pittsburgh, PA

Presented by New Polity

Two days to tackle the controversies and promises of artificial intelligence, in prayer, discussion, and furious debate.

“I encourage all members of the Church not to be afraid of the present challenges, but to listen to one another and firmly embrace their responsibilities in building a more humane and fraternal society.”

Pope Leo XIV, Magnifica Humanitas

AI has the potential to massively centralize power in the hands of a few, reduce the scope of human freedom, and produce the illusion that humanity could and even should be surpassed and replaced.

Read Our Statement↗

Unprecedented resources, economic, environmental, and spiritual, are being poured into the construction of AI systems without the agreement or participation of those who stand to be most affected by these systems.

The problems we face today require novel thinking—drawn from the Christian tradition—and practicable actions for Christians to take in the world.

That’s where the Catholic AI Summit comes in.

Two Days.

One Crucial Conversation.

At the Catholic AI Summit, educators, philosophers, theologians, businessmen, and leaders from the Catholic world will gather to debate, discuss, and discern a path forward in light of our current AI moment. Thematic keynote addresses and breakaway presentations set the tone, with plenty of space allotted for attendees to meet and discuss these relevant issues, from Friday breakfast to our closing dinner.
